WINNING COLORS... This little girl was born right here and is an Amerikitty "native".  She has an amazing coat and huge gold eyes and is nicely proportioned.   You'd never know it from this shot but Colors was the runt of her litter.  As you can see, that doesn't always follow them through out their lives!

Colors is such a beautiful girl and loves to play.  What is it with calico cats, anyway?  All of mine are rather aloof and even ornery.  She can really get me with that regal look, though!  She will pose for a quick minute for the camera but below is what she really likes to do.....

"SHEA IT ISN'T SO"   my sweet EXOTIC short-haired PERSIAN.  This girl is a new Amerikitties mother and doing a great job.  She is so attentive and protective of her first litter.  Shea is a dominant calico and has, as you can see, bright, gold eyes.  The dominant colors with the red-factor are supposed to have these wonderful gold eyes and her's are grand!  I just love those bright, true colors!

" Take a Look at Me Now",                  "Mimi" is about 6 weeks old here and growing well and already an Amerikitties favorite that we know will be staying right here.  She is going to be a fairly big girl.  Her eyes are as blue as pools but that doesn't always show up in photos.

"Take a Look at Me Now" ( older, here ) is a cream-point HIMALAYAN and was born and raised here at Amerikitties like Shea.  She is as sweet as she is beautiful.   She has now achieved her championship status and is working on her grande.

"Cream Rises to the Top"   My mom always told me that it would.   And I think it does.  I call her "Molly", don't ask me why she ended up with this nick name.   This girl is so sweet and beautiful.  She is a cream/white bi-colored  PERSIAN but has brown eyes and they are gorgeous!  It is sort of like the unusual blonde haired, brown-eyed human that is so attractive. 

Molly is about 2 yrs. of age in this picture and holds a Championship status.  She has a long flowing coat but it is easy to groom.  Coat fur is so different from one cat to another even within the breed.  Some are downy and some are silky.  Some shed a fair amount but some hardly shed at all.  Molly has an easy coat that goes with her quiet, easy personality.

CFA CHAMPION....

"Endless Summer" is  an EXOTIC short-haired PERSIAN but with color points like a HIMALAYAN.  Now holding a Champion status,she was in her first show as a kitten and did really well, receiving a rosette for best color class, best of breed and, also, 8th best kitten out of 50 in her division.  Here she is enjoying the summer sun on the deck.

"Through Rose-colored Glasses"...or "Rosie", as we call her.  Rosie is a red tabby Exotic short-haired Persian.  She is a love and a fabulous mother.  She is about 3 years of age in this shot.

Rosie has beautiful round, gold eyes that are perfect for the breed.  She also has a high nose and lovely coat.  Usually Exotics are fairly husky but Rosie is a somewhat slight lady.  She is lovely and easy and despite her small frame has always been as "healthy as a horse".

"Pleasant Surprise"is a cream-point Himalayan and, in different years,  produced two of our most beautiful cats, Zach and Mimi.  We are excited to see how her "kids"  progress in the show world.  Pleasant is just what her name implies.  She is a quiet, gentle little lady and an excellent example of the Persian breed.  The Himalayan is a hybrid Persian.

CFA Champian "Mama's Good Looks"  blue-lynx-point HIMALAYAN... our lovely "Looks" is the sweetest kitty ever.  She talks a LOT and is at my heels at all times.  She has an incredible coat and very typy body, as well as  beautiful blue eyes.
