We are BREEDERS with a CFA registered cattery and our cats and kittens are all PKD/FeLV/FIV negative by DNA testing. We are licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture and all of our kittens are immaculately cared for. For those of you that have been watching the footage of Molly leading up to her delivery, here she is...
the happy and contented mama of 5...wow...5!... little ones. That is a really large litter for Persians. They usually have 1 to 3 in a litter. She isn't thrilled with me photographing them, as you can see. She really like to hide the little ones. So far, all of these babies and mama are doing really well. We haven't bothered our new mama too much so we aren't sure what gender the babies are or how cute they might be but we will be checking them all out very soon. Stay tuned for some more great videos and information on our new mama and babies as they progress.

Three of our past kittens...
This is an EXAMPLE of our traditional PERSIAN KITTEN. A Persian is a calm, sweet cat that is typically quiet. They are identified by their long, flowing coat, high nose, low, wide-set ears and large round eyes. This kitten is a black and white bi-colored Persian. Persian breeders take pride in the health and quality of their cats and kittens. We do have Persian kittens for sale when they do not work for our program. That does not mean that they are any less than perfect. It only means that they are not what we can use, at the time, to attain our immediate goal.
This is an EXAMPLE of the EXOTIC SHORT-HAIRED PERSIAN KITTENS we have here at Amerikitties. The EXOTIC is a hybrid Persian. It originated from the mix of the American short haired cat and the Persian breeds. The Exotic is slightly huskier than the traditional Persian and is characterized by it's short, plush coat. We have Exotic short-haired Persians in different color combinations.
This is an EXAMPLE of the HIMALAYANS we have here at Amerikitties. This is "Sushi" and he has been a long time model for Amerikitties Persians. Sushi is a cream-point Himalayan. The Himalayan is another hybrid Persian and was derived from the mix of the Persian and the Siamese cats. As the Himalayan breed is perfected, it more and more resembles the Persian in looks and temperment. What the Himalayan retains from the Siamese is the color points and the blue eyes. We do have Himalayan kittens for sale when they do not work for our program.
